How do i get my ipod to recieve the correct IP from my router?

So my ipod stopped connecting to the internet, event though the WiFi appears to have a perfect signal, and my computer and other wireless devices connect to it properly, except my ipod. The reason is it is receiving an IP address starting with 169 instead of 192. How can i get the ipod to correct this issue, or how do i get my router to correct it?

You are not being provided the IP address from the router. Your configuration of the Ipod is incorrect. Reconfigure it for your network, providing proper encryption, preshare key, etc and if you have MAC address validation activated on your wireless LAN (you should), be sure to enter the MAC address of Ipod in the router validation table.
